III International Online piano competition Sergei Rachmaninoff.

🎶 RULES:

Article 1.

Association “RHAPSODY” from Sarajevo organizes 3 INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION “SERGEI RACHMANINOFF” in the period of (7, 8, 9 APRIL). The competition will be live and online.

Article 2.

The competition is public, the program for piano solo is performed by heart, while for piano duo, complementary piano and comparative piano, the program can be performed from sheet music.

Article 3.

The competition will take place in the following disciplines: piano solo, piano duo – four-handed, six-handed, teacher and student, complementary piano, comparative piano.

Article 4.

The competition is judged by an expert jury made up of eminent pedagogues from the country and abroad.

Article 5.

The jury’s decision is final and irrevocable.

Article 6.

Jury members are obliged to:

1. To respect the rulebook on the work of the jury;

2. To intervene in the case of deviation from the regulations on the work of the jury;

 

Article 7.

Scoring of the participants is done by adding points from the score sheets and calculating the mean value. The required number of points for the respective award is:

FIRST PRIZE: 90-100 points;

SECOND PRIZE: 80-90 points;

THIRD PRIZE: 70-80 points;

PRAISE: 60-69.99 points.

Article 8.

The number of prizes that the jury will award in each category is not limited.

Article 9

The winner of each category (LAUREAT/GRAND PRIX) must have a minimum of 98 points in all categories.

 

Article 10.

The organizer reserves the right to publish photos and videos of all competition participants, and in order to promote the competition, photos and videos are published in the media, on the official website, official Facebook page, YouTube, posters, flyers, billboards and the like.

Article 11.

The donation for the competition is 60 km /
30 euros for all categories. In case the participant withdraws from the competition, the donation is not returned.

Article 12.

Competitors apply through the electronic application found on the website.

In addition to the application, participants must send a scanned (can also be a regular photo – as long as it is clean and visible) photo of the birth certificate or passport.

Article 13.

All participants upload the video to the YouTube channel – with the PUBLIC or UNLISTED option and comments turned off. It is necessary to state in the description of the video: the name and surname of the candidate, the category and the program he is performing. All recordings cannot be older than one year. Videos can be in their entirety or each video individually. It is very important to see the instrument and the body in the recording.

 🎹 In all categories, 2 or more compositions of your choice are played.
 1. Pre-category – 2014 and younger – 5 minutes;
 2. Category A – 2013 – 6 min;
 3. Category B – 2012 – 7 min;
 4. Category C – 2011 – 8 min;
 5. Category D – 2010 – 9 min;
 6. Category E – 2009 – 10 min;
 7. Category F – 2008 – 11 min;
 8. Category G – 2007 and 2006 – 13 min;
 9. Category H – 2005 and 2004 – 15 min.
 🎼 Piano duo – four-handed, six-handed and student teacher
 All categories play a free program of 2 or more compositions up to a certain length
 1. Pre-category – 2014 and younger – 5 min;
 2. Cat A – 2013 and 2012 – 5 min;
 3. Cat B – 2011 and 2010 – 7 min;
 4. Cat C – 2009 and 2008 – 9 min;
 5. Cat D – 2007 and 2006 – 11 min;
 6. Cat E – 2005 and 2004 – 13 min;
 🎼 Complementary piano:
 Free program of 2 or more compositions, students can play the program from sheet music.
 🎹 A1 and A2 – students who played the piano in elementary music school, and are now in the theory department in high school.
 A1 – 1st and 2nd grade of secondary music school – 10 min;
 A2 – III and IV grade of secondary music school – 11 min.
 🎹 B1 and B2 – students who did not play the piano in elementary music school, but attend the theory department in high school.
 B1 – 1st and 2nd grade of secondary music school – 8 min;
 B2 – III and IV grade of secondary music school – 9 min.
 🎼 Comparative Piano:
 Free program of 2 or more compositions, students can play the program from sheet music.
 🎹 Students who play another instrument
 (or solo singing/ethnic singing)
 1. Category A – elementary school – 6 min;
 2. Category B1 – I and II grade of secondary music school – 8 min;
 3. Category B2 – III and IV grade of secondary music school – 10 min.
